As we were walking the dog this afternoon, we noticed this furry little thing on a tree. So of course this turned into a science lesson! My first thought was that it is a wooly worm. Wooly worms have been thought of to predict whether or not we will have a mild or rough winter. Supposedly, the more brown on the worm, the milder the winter. Well, this wooly worm is solid black! So does that mean we are in for a rough winter?? I just don’t know. What all do you think?? I would love to hear from you!

Oh wow! If the old tales ring true then you are right! We are in for a bad winter, not like last winter wasnt bad enough! During the December 19th snowstorm it took me 4 hours to get home from work which normally only takes about 20 minutes!!'
