Are you ready for another wonderful giveaway and the Hip Homeschool Hop?? Let’s get started!
This weeks giveaway is being donated by Hal and Melanie Young from Raising Real Men. They are a wonderful Christian Homeschooling couple who are raising 6 boys and 2 girls. This is what they have to say.
Raising Real Men is a practical guide to reaching the hearts and minds of boys — without losing or breaking your own. Written by the parents of six sons, this is a rare blend of solid Biblical principles with real life examples of how it works — and sometimes, what didn’t work! Find out why your boys drive you crazy, how to manage aggression and competition, useful ideas for teaching purity and responsibility, and preparing to launch your sons into adulthood. Douglas Wilson (author of Future Men) calls it “earthy, realistic, humorous and scriptural.” Tedd Tripp (Shepherding A Child’s Heart) said “This book is long overdue.” John Rosemond (Parenting By The Book) concludes, “This is just what the doctor ordered for parents who want to raise capable Christian men of character.”
Plus, a bonus! At many conferences, we’ve seen couples debating which to get – Mom wants the print book, but Dad likes audio-books for his commuting time. We’d like you to have both, so we’re offering our “Mom and Dad Special” – both the book and the audiobook, a $40 value if purchased separately!
So as you can see, not only do you get their book, you also get the 5-cd audio-book!

hi!This was a really quality topic!
I come from roma, I was fortunate to search your topic in baidu
Also I learn a lot in your theme really thanks very much i will come every day
Thank you so much for helping this not so savvy to the way of the blog gal find the way to post here – I have a blogger account but have yet to figure it all out. I so love FB – I learn something new everyday. When I saw your post on FB for this giveaway it really grabbed my attention. I have three boys ages 3, 6, and 12. Their Dad has recently come home, Praise God, from Iraq. He was deployed there for three years and it was a very difficult and trying time as a family. My sons, despite the fact that their Dad is now home, are struggling with a lot of emotional issues and feelings of insecurity. I found God and accepted Jesus as my personal savior in my quest to cope with our time without my husband. I will always look back on that time as God opening a window after the doors had been shut down on our family. It is through HIM that I gain my strength. I have no other reason to hope to win this than I felt I found it by God's direction. If I don't win I plan to purchase when we are financially able. Thank you for getting such valuable information out there – No Mom should be alone – especially homeschooling Moms =-) Thank you and God Bless.
This book would be a great asset to me as I raise my 7 & 8 year old sons in this world of negative influences. My prayer for them is to grow up in the Lord, marry godly wives, and become everything that God wants them to be.
I've subscribed to the newsletter…followed your blog…linked up with HHH…liked HHH on facebook…and liked the facebook page for the book.
Thanks for bringing this book to my attention for me to read whether I win it or not!!
I would love to win this book. I have 2 boys, ages 7 and 8. I also thank you for bringing my attention to this book. As Janet Rose stated, I will be sure to read this book whether I win it or not. (But, if I win it, I can underline it…. probably shouldn't do that with a library book) :)My email is kelly.vonk@yahoo.com (just in case I win!) 🙂
Would love this book. Have 3 boys and have been following them on FB lately. Good stuff! (Oops, I think I accidentally added my info to the Hip Hop linky thing when I meant to do this! Sorry. I'll check out the Hip Hop a bit more.)
Am a fan of Raising Real Men on FB.
I heard them speak a year ago and loved their message on boys. With three boys, I'd love to have both the audio and paper copy of this book.
I follow hip home on fb.
I follow on twitter
I know it's your homeschooling hop "thang" (Texas word for thing) – today – but the day would not be complete if I didn't visit my friend Joy's blog!
have a nice evening!

I would love to win their book because I have 4 boys, 3 of them in their teens. They have an entry on their blog about getting boys to do their schoolwork. I can totally relate!
I'm also a fan of theirs on Facebook.
