Back in the late winter and early spring, I had been posting a weekly post on how I was doing on losing my weight. I had gotten away from that towards the end of May as well as gotten away from eating healthier and exercising. Why did I get away from a healthier lifestyle? Did I just get too busy? No, I didn’t get too busy. I think it was more along the line of me getting too lazy! Since I have been told that I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, and now it is important for me to get healthy and get this weight off of me.
How am I going to do this? I have joined in with a group of ladies for a little challenge. We have challenged ourselves to lose 15 lbs by Christmas time. However, I have added 5 more pounds to this, because I have since gained a few lbs in the last week and I want to get below 200 before Christmas. How am I going to do this? I am going to start tracking my food for the day, drink my water and try to at least exercise for 30 minutes today.
How did I do today? I was able to eat 3 healthy meals during the day. I drank 108 ounces of water and walked around 6 blocks in town. I am really pleased with how my day went. I am looking forward to continuing this until I reach my goal.
I have joined the Walk at Home Club. I didnt join until last week during the middle of the week. I am using their software and have made myself a goal of 33 miles to be walked by 10/31! It has really motivated me.(I am already at 22 miles and it has not even been a whole week!!) I joined the 21 day challenge which starts on Nov 1st, but I decided I had to do something before then to get myself prepared, which is why I set this 33 mile goal before 10/31!! I have been doing really, really well. I was a little bummed that I lost a few pounds but when I changed to using booster cables with one of the Walk at Home workouts , I gained a pound again. It has got to be muscle because I am being good about my water and what I am eating. I am hoping to see some good results this week! I hope you will see some good results too! Praying for you! Kristina
Kristina, I definitely think you have gained some muscle and that is the cause of your slight weight gain. Just keep walking! I know you can do it! I have also joined the 21 day challenge. I am excited about it! We can do this!! 🙂
