Hearing your children say, "I love you" is my favorite! 🙂 What are candy roasters?
Lynnea, The candy roaster is in the squash family. It is a pale orange/peach color and is about the size of a watermelon. Very similar to a pumpkin. You cut it and cook it just like you would a pumpkin. We like it better for pumpkin pies. It is a lot sweeter to us. The kids love it. I will e-mail you a picture of it. Terry's Produce in town has them. It is considered an heirloom squash and native to northern Georgia and Western NC from what I can tell.
