What a Week!

What a Week!

Wow! What a week we have had in this household. It all started with our youngest son getting sick on late Saturday night. Not to be outdone, the other 3 kids proceeded to get sick the following 2 nights. Just when I thought they were getting better on Tuesday, 2 kids had a relapse and then our water stopped working on Wednesday. Oh, I can’t forget the flat tire and leaking power steering pump on our 2nd vehicle as well. Yes, all of this happened before midweek.

Okay, while it was a rough week in some ways, we did have some positives to happen! We got our new math and history curriculum in the mail. We are still waiting for the Hooked on Phonics for the younger two to arrive. I am hoping it will here soon. The kids are so ready to start fresh with new curriculum!

We are also ready to be back at church. I know I have missed almost 6 weeks of church services due to sickness in our household. Yes, we have been sick for that long. We have had Type A and B flu’s and 2 different stomach bugs to visit. I am praying and praying we are finished with the sickness for a very long time!

So if you have wondered where I have been and what all was happening in our house, now you know. I am hoping to start back to blogging regularly since things seem to be leveling out around here. Thank you for being patient with me and the blog!

Blessings!

Multitude Monday- Blessings #296-#305

Due to being sick last week, I missed posting how thankful and blessed I had been.  God has blessed me so much.  I am still loving this idea of writing down and keeping track of the many things that God has blessed me and my family with.  No matter how little or how small, there is always a blessing to be found.  All I have to do is just look for it.

296.  The beautiful weather we have been having in the Great Smokies.

297.  Cookout with friends.

298.  Meeting new people.

299.  Saturday morning pancakes.

300.  Spending an afternoon with my daughters.

301.  Getting new books to read.

302.  Seeing my children play together outside in the sunshine.

303.  Taking pictures of my children.

304.  Reading books to my children.

305.  Having family time together with all of the kids.

You can also take part in the Multitude Monday by visiting A Holy Experience.  What are you thankful for or what blessings have you received this week?  I would love to hear them!
