The Case of the Missing Mountain – Book Review

The Case of the Missing Mountain – Book Review

The kids and I have had the honor of reviewing The Case of the Missing Mountain by Kim Jones.  The Case of the Missing Mountain is a colorful 80 page activity book.  The kids join Rangers Jack and Jen as they work to solve 8 mystery’s to see what happened to Mount. St. Helens.  You solve the mystery’s by doing crossword puzzles, codes, word finds, word scrambles and other activities.  Once the kids solve all the mystery’s, they will then become an Official Mystery Ranger.

Here is an official description of the book.

We really liked the book a lot.  My oldest daughter who is 13, enjoyed working on the puzzles and word scrambles and the different activities that were in the book.  However, it was a little difficult for my 6 and 5 year old children.  They did enjoy the hands on activities when we got to make a mess though.  And you will make a mess!

I definitely recommend this book for the elementary to middle school age kids.

If this book sounds like one you would like to buy for you and your children, you can order The Case of the Missing Mountain from Inspire4Less.com .  Or you can come to the awesome twitter party, to try and win a copy of the book.  The twitter party is being hosted by Meghan (@meghantucker) from The Tuckers Take Tennessee and Masterbooks (@masterbooks) with Inspire4Less (@inspire4less) as the featured vendor.  The twitter party will take place on February 22 at 8:00pm central time.  Be sure to use the hastag #masterbooks.

iFellowship Day!

iFellowship Day!
iFellowship
iFellowship Day is always a highlight of my week. I use this post to share a favorite verse or a scripture that has touched my heart during the week.  This verse this week is Matthew 19:26.
No matter what, I just keep telling myself to keep trusting God, because with Him, all things are possible.  I can not go wrong putting my faith and trust in God.
Matthew 19:26

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is

impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
