Luke 2:7

7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Join us for iFellowship at Seeds of Faith. Also be sure to visit our featured blogger Liz at The Flowering Dogwood. Liz is a mommy of 3 boys, and she just posted that she plans to stop blogging after the first of the year. Be sure to stop by and tell her how much you are going to miss her!

Welcome Homeschool Friends

Photobucket
We have 2 special announcements for you today!

With almost 2300 fans on facebook, and over 1600 on twitter, all of us over at Hip Homeschool Moms are constantly looking for new ways to encourage and support the amazing homeschoolers that connect with us on a daily basis.
{#1.}  Starting this week, we will be featuring fun and helpful daily themes on our facebook page for all of you to participate in:
Make a List Monday – Lists of resources, information and shout-outs of some of your favorite things
Teaching Tuesday – Questions and resources for homeschool teachers
We Read Wednesday – Reading is such a HUGE aspect of homeschooling and we’re going to talk about it in some way every Wednesday.
Thrifty Thursday – Free resources, printable downloads and homeschooling on a tight budget
Friday Funny – Lighthearted silliness just in time for your weekend pleasure
Saturday Smile – All things encouraging and uplifting for the homeschool mom
Support Me Sunday – Questions, answers, and resources that support homeschoolers
If you know of a resource that would fit into any of our categories, that we should feature please don’t hesitate to email us at HipHomeschoolMoms@gmail.com
{#2.}   This one is kinda BIG!
We can’t give you all of the details yet, but we plan to launch a special place next month just for homeschoolers to list homeschool resources that they would like to sell, buy or swap with each other.
(Think…a smaller version of Craig’s List…but just for homeschoolers. *wink*)
What’s it going be called?  The Hip Homeschool List, of course!!!
You’re going to want to be on the “Hip List”, so get your new/used homeschool stuff ready to sell and stay tuned for more information coming in January.
