Snow Day 2

Snow Day 2

Day 2 of being at home with my wonderful family. We received around 3-4 inches of snow overnight. It has snowed off and on all day. The wind is so vicious outside. It never broke 20 today and is supposed to get to 8 or so tonight. Hubby was home today and will be home tomorrow as well. We did manage to get some outside playing in.

Praying everyone that was part of this snow system is safe and warm. Blessings to you all!

Multitude Monday- Blessings #181-#190

Multitude Monday- Blessings #181-#190

After a challenging week, I can still find things to be thankful for. What are you thankful for this week?  Please share!

181. Snow. Yes, I like winter and the snow. 🙂

182. How much peace I feel because of the snow.

183. A slower pace of life when it snows. Seems like the whole town shuts down.

184. Watching the joy on my children’s face as they build a snowman.

185. Watching their dad take time to build the snowman with them.

186. Thankful for a friend of our son’s, who is willing to drive him home from work on icy roads.

187. Making new homeschooling friends.

188. Being able to celebrate Christmas with the homeschool group.

189. Being part of a wonderful company, Thirty-One.

190. Friends and family who support me in my new endeavors!

You can also take part in the Multitude Monday by visiting A Holy Experience.   What are you thankful for or what blessings have you received this week?  I would love to hear them!

a few more snow pictures…

a few more snow pictures…

We had to take Michael to work and took some pictures along the way. Amazing how much snow was in town.

Now that the sun has set, the temperature has dropped and the road by our house has turned to ice.

My hubby and son won’t be going to the college tomorrow for work or school, as it has been canceled already.

We have more snow in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Looks like we could get as much as 6 more inches of snow.

Praying others stay warm and safe during this time!
