I took a little time out this morning and walked around my yard. I was taking in the gorgeous cool fall morning that we had. I was noticing the beautiful flowers that we have still blooming. I was noticing the view I have from my back door of the mountains. It got me to thinking about God and how He created everything I was looking at. We truly serve an amazing God. Only He could say:

Genesis 1:11 Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

and it happened.

There was no Big Bang. God Spoke and it happened.
 
That is good enough for me.

Yes, we definitely serve a mighty and awesome God!

What a wonderful week my family has had. As usual, we always have so much to be thankful for.  God has blessed us so much, that I am happy to be able to share in all the ways.  What are you thankful for this week?  Please share!

114. When God Dips His Love In My Heart 

115. Lord Prepare Me

116.  The Praise and Worship group singing the above songs.

117.  Being able to talk and praise God with friends.

118.  Having the freedom to worship God in the USA.

119. Thanking God for giving my children the talent in music and song.

120. Thanking God for sending me a husband who is not ashamed to use his talents for God.

A Ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway

A Ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Today we went for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  We started at Balsam Mountain and rode all the way to Asheville.  The sun was brightly shining, the sky was a gorgeous blue and the temperature was perfect.  We had a wonderful breeze flowing around us.

God has truly touched His hand on us and blessed us beyond more than what we deserve.

I don’t deserve what God has done for me.  I am just thankful for His mercy and grace.
