Hip Homeschool Hop and a Giveaway!

Hip Homeschool Hop and a Giveaway!
Are you ready for another wonderful giveaway and the Hip Homeschool Hop??  Let’s get started!
This weeks giveaway is being donated by Hal and Melanie Young from Raising Real Men.  They are a wonderful Christian Homeschooling couple who are raising 6 boys and 2 girls.  This is what they have to say.

Raising Real Men is a practical guide to reaching the hearts and minds of boys — without losing or breaking your own.  Written by the parents of six sons, this is a rare blend of solid Biblical principles with real life examples of how it works — and sometimes, what didn’t work!  Find out why your boys drive you crazy, how to manage aggression and competition, useful ideas for teaching purity and responsibility, and preparing to launch your sons into adulthood.  Douglas Wilson (author of Future Men) calls it “earthy, realistic, humorous and scriptural.”  Tedd Tripp (Shepherding A Child’s Heart) said “This book is long overdue.”  John Rosemond (Parenting By The Book) concludes, “This is just what the doctor ordered for parents who want to raise capable Christian men of character.”
Plus, a bonus!  At many conferences, we’ve seen couples debating which to get – Mom wants the print book, but Dad likes audio-books for his commuting time.  We’d like you to have both, so we’re offering our “Mom and Dad Special” – both the book and the audiobook, a $40 value if purchased separately!
So as you can see, not only do you get their book, you also get the 5-cd audio-book!

Homeschool Park Day!

Homeschool Park Day!

What a beautiful fall day! The sun was brightly shining, the sky was a bright blue and the wind was gently blowing. Then meeting up at the park with fellow homeschoolers, it was a gorgeous day overall!

Kids had a blast swinging, sliding, playing chase, digging in the sand and playing ball.

They enjoyed the monkey bars, the castle, the tire swing and playing hide and seek.

They enjoyed sharing their snacks and drinks with one another.

Most of all, they enjoyed making memories with new and old friends. Memories that will last a life time!
