iFellowship 1 Peter 2:4-8

iFellowship 1 Peter 2:4-8
iFellowship

Welcome to iFellowship! As you may have noticed, I have post scripture from 1 Peter the last couple of weeks. Our pastor has been preaching and teaching us from 1 Peter. As usual, there have been powerful words that really have stuck with me.  If we do not have Jesus as our cornerstone, we will crumble and fall.  It is important that we always keep Jesus first in our lives!

1 Peter 2:4-8

4 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,
5  you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6 For it stands in Scripture:

“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious,
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

7 So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,

“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”

8 and
“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”

They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

Blessings to you!

Home Is Where You Start From

This weeks photo challenge at Home Is Where You Start From was a hard one for me. Moments. We have so many in our life, that it is hard to choose just one. As I was looking through recent pictures, I came to one of my son Samuel. This picture was taken at our homeschool end of year picnic. He was going to run right in the cold water. When he did, his face was priceless. I truly loved watching the kids play and enjoy this wonderful time with one another.

Don’t forget to stop by Home Is Where You Start From to see the others who link up. I know the pictures will be beautiful.
