Homeschool Postcards!

Homeschool Postcards!

So, I noticed that Stef, over at Educating Layton was hosting a Homeschoo Postcards day. I thought it was a great idea! You find or take a picture with the name of the state you are from. I looked a while to find a picture with North Carolina in it, since I hadn’t planned on going anywhere today. Guess what? I found one!! Even though it doesn’t have my kids in the picture (I know I have one with them in it, just couldn’t find it), I still hope you like the picture! By the way, North Carolina is in the bottom right corner.  You have to click on the picture to see it better!

Be sure to visit Stef at Educating Layton and join in the fun today!

Romans 5:1-11

Faith Triumphs in Trouble

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

my kids..

my kids..

It isn’t often I am able to get a picture with all of my kids together. Yes, even the 4-legged furry one. My oldest is just now finishing up high school. He has been doing dual enrollment as well as working a part time job. So, he isn’t here often during the day time hours. Now that summer is here, we are seeing him a little more. So, yesterday when the younger three went and sat under the tree with Trixie, I knew this would be an opportunity to get a picture of all of them together. My oldest agreed and went to sit by his siblings. I am really proud of all of my kids. They are the light of our lives!

Just had to brag a little bit about them! 😉
