iFellowship Day – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

iFellowship Day – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
iFellowship

I missed last weeks iFellowship link-up at Seeds of Faith.  I did not even realize it until the following day.  Why did I miss it?  I was trying to take care of 2 sick kids that had the flu while I had a nasty stomach bug.  Guess what?  I have the flu this week!  However, I was determined not to miss iFellowship.  I love taking part in iFellowship.  I have been using this day to share with everyone scripture that has spoken to me.  Normally, the scripture comes from a church service from the previous week.  However, I haven’t been to church in 2 weeks.  So this week is one from a devotion that I read.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.  Blessings!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Psalm 47
1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
2 For the LORD Most High is awesome;
He is a great King over all the earth.
3 He will subdue the peoples under us,
And the nations under our feet.
4 He will choose our inheritance for us,
The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah

5 God has gone up with a shout,
The LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7 For God is the King of all the earth;
Sing praises with understanding.

8 God reigns over the nations;
God sits on His holy throne.
9 The princes of the people have gathered together,
The people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
He is greatly exalted.

iFellowship Day is always a highlight of my week. I use this post to share a favorite verse or a scripture that has touched my heart during the week.  This verse this week is Matthew 19:26.
No matter what, I just keep telling myself to keep trusting God, because with Him, all things are possible.  I can not go wrong putting my faith and trust in God.
Matthew 19:26

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is

impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
