Learning can happen anywhere. Even right outside your home. The younger kids were feeling a little better this afternoon so we went outside for a walk. We didn’t have to go far before the kids started discovering insects and spiders! Of course we had to take pictures of them so that we could try to identify them later. However, we are still no closer to figuring out what they are. All we know is that one is a spider and the other 2 are insects. Or are they bugs? Or are insects and bugs the same thing? WOW! More research we can do. Learning can be so much fun and doesn’t have to have a high price either! So go take walk with your children at the park or just around your house. You will be making memories for a lifetime!!

L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge-“Our Animal Friends”
This weeks L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge is “Our Animal Friends”.
When I saw this topic, I knew I had a cute picture to share. Just a couple of weeks ago, I had written about a momma cat bringing her babies up on our porch and leaving them. They ended up staying for 2 days before the momma cat decided to move them on to another home. However, before they had the chance to move, I was able to get a few pictures of the sweet little kittens. Here is my favorite one:
