Home Is Where You Start From

The L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge this week is Golden. When I saw that it was “golden”, I immediately thought of some pictures that I had taken of a sunset up on Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I knew it would go well with the theme.

What do you think? Does the sun peaking through the trees look golden?

L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge: This Moment edition

Home Is Where You Start From

For this weeks L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge: This Moment edition, I knew what I wanted to share. A picture of my daughter in Alice in Wonderland. Sarah takes musical theater lessons at the Triple Threat Performing Arts Academy in the town that we live in. They just got finished with 3 performances over the last 2 days. They all did an awesome job. We are very proud of Sarah for doing an awesome job playing one of the Cheshire Cats.

In this picture, Sarah is cat in the middle.  It was hard getting pictures of her, since she was always on the move.  However, this fits her perfectly since she is singing her heart out!

Even though it isn’t spring time on the calendar yet, we have had a lot of nice spring days during the last couple of weeks. These pictures were taken last week during one of our warmer spells. I enjoyed getting out in the sunshine and taking the pictures. I hope you enjoy them!
