I always enjoy the challenges that Jenny gives over at Home Is Where You Start From.  This week, the challenge she gives is Mircro.  She wants to know what our world looks like close up.  When I saw the challenge, I knew what picture I wanted to show.  I took this picture last spring when the kids and I were outside.  The bumblebees were out out flying around.  I was finally able to get a close up of one.

The L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge this week is “Weather”. I must say, we have had a lot of interesting weather in our area lately. We have had a lot of snow and it just seems to keep coming. There has been a couple of times that they have told us that we would only get an inch or two. Both times, we have ended up with 6 or more inches of snow. My family enjoys the snow and the kids really enjoy playing in it. With all the snow we have gotten, it has made some beautiful pictures. So going through all the pictures that I have taken, I chose this one, which was taken after a snow storm in December. You can see the clouds rising up above the mountains and also the snow still left on the trees of the mountains. I hope you enjoy the picture!
