Kids Playing In The Snow

Here are some pictures of Buddy and the 2 little ones playing in the snow. They had a blast outside!

Before the snow stopped, we had a little over 6 inches of snow. The NWS said to expect a couple of more inches tonight. We are praying the snow is finished for now.

Monday’s Are Weigh-In Days

I am doing this weight loss with a group of homeschool moms. Monday is the day we weigh in. After having a great weight loss last Monday, it wasn’t too great this week. I actually gained 1.5 lbs. I have learned that I am an emotional eater. When I get upset, I eat. When I get mad, I eat. When I get stressed or depressed, I eat. Well this weekend was a stressful weekend. At least Friday and Saturday were. I finally pulled myself together on Sunday and told myself I was not going to eat anything I wanted to just eat. Overeating does not take away the problem and therefore is not a good way of handling whatever the situation may be. I e-mailed a friend and got wonderful encouragement from her. I then called a friend to see if she wanted to go walking. And walk we did!! We walked for an hour! I felt so good afterward! So while my food choices were not that great on Friday and Saturday, I am learning to control my eating!

I am so blessed to have great friends!!
