Today is a special day for me.  It is my daddy’s birthday.  He would have been 75 today if God had not seen fit to take him home so early in his life.   He was a wonderful man of God as well as an awesome daddy.  While we all miss him tremendously, I know he is enjoying himself in heaven with our almighty God.

Thank you daddy for all you did for us. I sure hope we have made you proud. I miss you bunches and look forward to seeing you one day in heaven.

A New Look!

A New Look!

Yes, My Home In The Smokies has a new look!  About a month or so ago, I won a giveaway on The Tennessee Tuckers blog. (Thanks Meghan!)
The prize was a blog makeover from Tracey over at Little Bitty Design Studio.  Tracy did an outstanding job of putting together a wonderful look for me by just asking some questions. She stays in contact with you throughout the process and will continue asking you questions to make sure you are happy. 

So if you are looking to spruce up your blog a little bit, I definitely recommend contacting Tracey.  I know I will in the future.

Thanks again Tracey!  Awesome job and I am really happy with the new look!

A New Look!

A New Look!

Yes, My Home In The Smokies has a new look!  About a month or so ago, I won a giveaway on The Tennessee Tuckers blog. (Thanks Meghan!)
The prize was a blog makeover from Tracey over at Little Bitty Design Studio.  Tracy did an outstanding job of putting together a wonderful look for me by just asking some questions. She stays in contact with you throughout the process and will continue asking you questions to make sure you are happy.
