love and encouragement…

The Homeschool Village has an awesome link up today.  It is the Virtual Valentine Exchange.  Be sure to stop by and read all of the blogs that have linked up.  There is so much encouragement and love from this homeschooling community.  I am truly thankful and blessed to be a part of it.

When our family first started homeschooling, we didn’t have very much support.  However, I do remember two particular ladies that basically took my hand and helped me get started.  How did they help me?  They encouraged me.  They prayed for me and encouraged me to keep on going.  As long as our family was doing what God had lead us to do, that is all that matters.

Now, it is my turn.  It is my turn to be there for those who need it.  I want to send love and encouragement to those who don’t believe they can go on another day at home with their children.  I want to be there for those who don’t think they are smart enough to school their children.  I want to be there for those who don’t have the love and support from family and friends.  You can do this thing called homeschooling!  Not only do you have me on your side, you also have God!

While I do have days to where I question being at home and schooling my kids, I ultimately know that this is where God wants me at.  It is where I am needed.  God has also blessed me by allowing me to be a part of such a wondering homeschooling community.  I know God has put me here to be there for those who need to know that you are wanted and loved.  He has allowed me this blog to reach to others to show love and encouragement.

If you are having a bad day, leave me a comment or e-mail me!  I want to be there for you!

So enjoy your day with your loved ones at home and know that you are loved!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
